More About Personal Training
I was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of competing both amateurly and professionally in the sport of boxing from the young old age of 12. By the old young age of 30 I decided to hang up the gloves and move on to new adventures in life. Since then, I had the pleasure of moving on to teaching the sport I love, in the hope of giving something back to the sport that has been so good to me. I have been lucky enough to work alongside fighters and fitness enthusiasts at various levels, experience and skills.
I offer 1-2-1 boxing personal training for everyone and anyone, both male or female and children over the age of 10, at any fitness level and any level of experience; from zero to Rocky.
Whatever your short term and long-term goal are for taking up 1-2-1 boxing personal training, we can create a plan and work together to learn the art of boxing at the level you wish to work. We will work together to go over some of the basics, such as hand wrapping, boxing stance, your guard, defence, and striking with your fists. We can progress on to more advanced techniques such as ring movements, weight transfer and power generation. When you feel more technically sound and confident, we can move on to combinations (punches in bunches), with the incorporation of movement through attack or defence. If however, you just want to do some good old fashioned pad-work and get a good sweat on, this can also be offered.
All of the above would take place in one of Scotland’s largest and fastest growing boxing gyms, known as Saltire Boxing Gym, located in the wonderful town of Johnstone.
